Galileo and Milton meet up at the Pearly Gates debating their credentials for entrance into Heaven.  Along the way, they encounter other historic and contemporary luminaries; challenging them to articulate their faith-based or science-based beliefs in a divine or cosmic universe that qualifies them for eternal salvation.
